Vor allen Beteiligten liegen jetzt noch 206 intensive Arbeitstage: Ob bei den Organisatoren mit der Planung der Wettkämpfe, den Vorbereitungen für das kulturelle Rahmenprogramm oder die  Infrastruktur oder den  Athletinnen und Athleten mit vielen vielen Trainingseinheiten und der Qualifikation zur WM.
Was alle gemeinsam haben: Sie spüren schon jetzt die Welle der Begeisterung, die vom 26. bis 31. Juli 2022 durch ganz Augsburg strömen wird, wenn mehr als 380 Sportlerinnen und Sportler aus 70 Nationen in zehn Medaillen-Entscheidungen gegeneinander antreten. The local organizing committee, athletes and sports fans are looking forward to an exciting year because the 2022 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships will take place in Augsburg. All involved parties only have 206 days left to prepare for the World Championships: whether the local organizing committee to plan the sporting competitions, the cultural side events and the infrastructure or the athletes to practice for the competitions. What they have in common: They feel already the wave of excitement which will flow through the city of Augsburg when more than 380 athletes from over 70 nations will battle for gold, silver and bronze in 10 medal events on 26 to 31 July 2022.
